Danielle and Dean’s Wedding @ Butterley Grange Mansion

I think the summer may be winding down. I am cold this morning, sitting writing at my iMac. It is the first time I have worn a sweater all summer.

Today, I have chosen a nice warm wedding to preview. This wedding was taken in April this year, about a week previously we had had snow on the ground.

I remember meeting Danielle, Dean and Connor their son at Butterley Grange Mansion on Easter weekend and the test shots we undertook at the venue were with snow covering fields.

They were blessed with a full on high summer style sunny day, hazy light, late afternoon sunshine running into the evening with their first dance at 8pm still with sunshine streaming through the doors…

The venue chosen, Butterley Grange Mansion wedding venue is a venue where I am a preferred Wedding Photographer. This venue has so much to offer, with weddings being held outside in the gazebo and on the lawns on a sunny day, a lovely sunny patio with a balcony to be photographed from, ideal for photos from above of your larger group shots. A Marquee is available for hire in the grounds but the house is stunning in itself, ornate, rich, colourful, expensive and chic.

Jane Fair of Fair Wedding Days wedding planning is based at Butterley Grange Mansion and works so hard to make your day a success, I have not seen anyone more helpful and ‘hands on’ for a couple than Jane, she is amazing, helpful, attentive, ever present.
